Foretold (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is a daily content app that pairs modern quotes with Bible verses. We respect your privacy and collect as little data as possible.

1. Information We Collect

Push notification token. If you enable push notifications, we store your device’s Expo push token, device platform (iOS or Android), and an anonymized device identifier. This is used solely to deliver daily notifications. No name, email, or account is required.

Usage data. When you open the app, it requests today’s card and card history from our server. These requests include standard HTTP metadata (IP address, timestamp) but are not logged or stored for tracking purposes.

No accounts. Foretold does not require registration, login, or any personal information to use.

2. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Google AdMob — displays ads within the app. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
Expo — handles push notification delivery. See Expo’s Privacy Policy.
Supabase — hosts our database. Push tokens and card data are stored on Supabase’s cloud infrastructure. See Supabase’s Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

Send you daily push notifications (if enabled)
Deliver card content when you open the app
Display ads via Google AdMob

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any party beyond the services listed above.

4. Data Retention

Push notification tokens are stored as long as they remain active. If you uninstall the app, your token becomes inactive and is no longer used. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us.

5. Children’s Privacy

Foretold is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

6. Your Choices

Push notifications — You can disable notifications at any time through your device’s settings.
Ad personalization — You can opt out of personalized ads through your device’s privacy settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy > Tracking; Android: Settings > Google > Ads).

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
